The world has changed, new software is changing the job application process. Gone are the days when recruiters and employers have an office full of data processors manually uploading candidate details into the databases. Modern software use 'parser' tech to pick up the data and populate all the database fields such as name, address, email address, phone number, work history, skills and education.
To make the most of this software as a candidate it is important that your resume is as 'clean' as possible. Keep formatting to a minimum, remove any digital images, and very importantly send your resumes through in word or text pdf.
