Manufacturing Leadership Role covering multi- sites with WA award winning company that has extensive local, national & international distribution network.
SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOUR NEW THE ROLE WILL ENTAIL
Full details will be provided in detail at the client interview but will include – Overseeing a manufacturing division ensuring effective production though management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures. Reporting to the Managing Director. Overseeing the manufacturing sites and departments. Liaising with the MD on the manufacturing expansion strategy and assist with any capital development requirements. Assist the Financial Controller with preparation of any business cases. Investigate and develop advancement sin materials handling and composite techniques to introduce improvements. Investigate and implements improved IT systems and processes to automate workflow including robotics. Develop KPI;s. Plan, prioritse and delegate work tasks, Manage employee and contractor network requirements to deliver capacity targets. Cost management. Maintain, develop and enhance contractor relationships. Debtor management in cooperation with Finance team. Keep abreast of regulatory changes including amendments to Australian Standards. Reporting on a weekly and monthly basis. Prepare, communicate & implement strategic plans & objectives.

WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH
Reports to the Managing Director and Executive Management Team as outlined in the position description.
VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE
A degree in manufacturing, business or engineering is preferred.
Experience with composites preferred.
Minimum of 3 years management experience.
Working knowledge and understanding of building and engineering plans.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Highly attuned written and verbal communication skills.
